Detail-oriented administrative assistant needed by chef/owner of small, successful catering company. Job duties will include (but are not limited to):

- Typing menus and printing for display
- Invoicing clients and tracking payments
- Writing & printing food labels
- Participate in event planning & coordination
- Light data entry
- Prefer willingness to shop & deliver
- Ability to “handle anything”

The ideal candidate will be:

- Hard-working and detail-oriented
- Proficient in Mac OS, Word, and Excel
- Exceptional organizational skills and reliability
- Must have reliable transportation
- Looking to grow into full-time, office leader and potentially future company leader

Located in South Coast Metro. Approx 12-20 hours per week based on your ability. Flexible schedule desired, but not required. Salary range between $15-20/hr based on experience.

chef assistant

Hard-working Chef Assistant needed in small, successful resident restaurant / catering company. Job duties will include (but are not limited to):

- Prepares food items according to instructions from Exec Chef 
- Serves meals or prep for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food is attractive & tasty
- Cleans kitchen after prep & serving, and stores/discards food
- Oversees and organizes kitchen supplies
- Strictly adheres to all safe food-handling procedures

The ideal candidate will have:

- Minimum 3-5 years cooking experience
- Strong time-management skills
- Understanding and experience with a variety of cooking techniques
- Strong knife skills
- The ability to manage various processes (cooking & prepping at same time)
- Ability to work long days (overtime) when needed
- Desire to learn from highly-experience chef

Full-time position, 8am - 5pm, M-F, with extended hours on large projects. Located in South Coast Metro. Salary based on experience: Approx $12-18/hr

On-call Server / Captain (Catering)

Experienced server needed for catering projects. Job duties will include (but are not limited to):

- Assure happiness of guests
- Deliver, setup, and refresh food items as needed, assuring cleanliness and attractiveness of food
- Clean up as needed
- Strictly adheres to all safe food-handling procedures
- Willing to work in various environments with multiple teams

The ideal candidate will have:

- Minimum 3-5 years serving
- Experience in fine-dining and off-premise catering required
- Reliable transportation
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work long days (overtime) when needed

Ideally, a highly-experienced candidate with significant leadership experience will be placed as a Captain at a higher rate.

On-call position, approx 1-2 shifts per week. Various OC (mostly) and LA locations. Salary based on experience: Approx $15-30/hr + tips

Bartender / Short Order Cook

Customer-service oriented short-order chef / bartender needed to tend small resident restaurant. Duties include:

- Take order and collect money using iPad
- Prepare mixed simple drinks
- Prepare wraps, salad, quesadillas, fried items
- Quickly deliver final product with a smile
- Prep food, organize, and clean when not handling customers
- Strictly adhere to all safe food-handling procedures

The ideal candidate will be:

- Hard-working, friendly, and customer-service focused
- Have at least some food service experience
- Be trustworthy and reliability
- Must have access to reliable transportation

If able and willing to do kitchen prep work, we can add on significantly more hours or convert role to full-time work.

Located in South Coast Metro. Approx 12-20 hours per week based on your ability, with the potential to expand. Likely hours Friday / Sat early evenings.

Salary range: approx $15/hr + tips
